I’m currently a PhD Candidate in Mass Communications at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. This Fall, I’ll be joining the faculty of the Department of Communication Studies at Furman University.
I am a critical and interdisciplinary communication scholar interested in processes of identity formation, media representation, digital activism, and cultural memory, especially among historically marginalized groups and Latin American contexts. I have taught courses in Diversity in Public Relations; Media, Diversity, & Latine; Introduction to Human Communication (Public Speaking), and Introduction to Health Communication.
